For Class IX & X

• Candidate must possess BA / B.Sc / B.Com with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Candidate must have passed B.Ed.

For Class XI & XII

• Candidate must possess a Post Graduation (Master’s Degree) in the concerned subject.
• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate are required.
• Candidate should have passed B.Ed.
• In case B.Ed. candidates are not available, non-B.Ed. candidates may also be considered as per the notification.

Interested and eligible candidates should download and fill up the prescribed application form attached with the advertisement. The completed application form along with copies of the required documents should be submitted to the concerned authority.

📄 Document Verification

After receipt of applications, verification of original documents and certificates will be conducted at the office of the District Welfare Officer, Sundargarh.

👨‍🏫 Duties & Responsibilities of Guest Teacher

• Teaching students in the classroom in the concerned subject as per the prescribed syllabus.
• Timely correction of assignments, test papers, projects and other academic work.
• Other works such as hostel responsibility or official office work of the Headmaster/Principal shall not be entrusted to a Guest Teacher.

⏳ Tenure of Engagement

The engagement is purely temporary in nature. The services may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason.

The Guest Teachers will render services for the academic year 2026-27 or until a regular PGT/TGT/Hindi Teacher/Sanskrit Teacher is appointed or engaged by the SC/ST Development Department, whichever is earlier.

⚠️ Terms & Conditions

1. Guest Teachers may be engaged only against a sanctioned vacant post, till joining of a regular teacher or for a particular academic year, whichever is earlier.
2. Guest Teachers shall have no claim or right for appointment on a regular or contractual basis at any point of time.
3. Working hours and period duration shall be as per the school timetable.
4. Engagement shall automatically come to an end once a regular/contractual teacher is appointed or engaged against the vacant post.
5. Performance of a Guest Teacher shall be reviewed regularly by the concerned Headmaster/Principal.
6. If a Guest Teacher remains absent unauthorizedly for a continuous period of seven days, the engagement may automatically come to an end.
7. Any Guest Teacher involved in misconduct or creating disturbance in the school may be immediately disengaged.
8. Guest Teachers shall not be allowed to stay in school premises after official working hours unless accommodation is provided in the school or hostel premises.
9. The maximum age at engagement is 62 years and retired Guest Teachers shall be disengaged on attaining 65 years.
