SSC GD 2026 Notification –Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian citizen. Domicile certificate / PRC required for CAPFs & AR vacancies.
• Age Limit: 18-23 years as on 01-01-2026 (DOB: 02-01-2003 to 01-01-2008).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC – 3 yrs, Ex-Servicemen – 3 yrs after deduction of military service, Children/Dependents of 1984 riot victims – 5-10 yrs depending on category.
• Education: Matriculation / 10th Pass.
• NCC Incentive: C – 5%, B – 3%, A – 2% marks bonus.

• Payment must be completed before 01-01-2026 (23:00).
• Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Mode of Selection

The selection will be based on CBE → PET → PST → Medical Examination → Document Verification. Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in CBE (UR – 30%, OBC/EWS – 25%, Others – 20%). NCC bonus marks will be added after normalization. Candidates must fill preferences for all 7 CAPFs/Organizations at the time of online application.

Action Against Misconduct

Any malpractice, impersonation, use of unfair means, possession of mobile/electronic gadgets, or misbehavior with staff will lead to debarring from exams (2–7 years depending on severity). The Commission may also report to police or investigative agencies for legal action.
