Rourkela Steel Plant Training Recruitment 2026

The Rourkela Steel Plant Training Recruitment 2026 notification has been released by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Rourkela Steel Plant for eligible underprivileged candidates interested in one-year training programmes at Ispat General Hospital (IGH), Rourkela.

The training opportunities are available for Medical Attendant Training, Hospital Administration Training and OT/Anesthesia Assistant Training. Eligible candidates from Sundargarh District and other districts of Odisha can apply subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and should not be more than 35 years of age as prescribed in the notification.

Educational Qualification

• Medical Attendant: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent qualification.
• Hospital Administration: MBA, BBA or PG Diploma in Hospital Management, Hospital Administration, HR, Marketing or Finance as specified by SAIL/RSP.
• OT/Anesthesia Assistant: Intermediate qualification with the prescribed one-year hospital attendant/assistant training requirement.

Other Eligibility Conditions

Candidates must satisfy the residential and other conditions mentioned in the official notification. Selection is also subject to medical fitness as per the applicable company rules.

• The duration of the training programme is one year.
• Selection is subject to medical fitness as per the rules of the company.
• Candidates who have undergone similar training programmes at IGH earlier shall not be eligible for a second tenure.
• The programme is intended for skill enhancement and employability.
• Completion of training does not create a claim for future employment in SAIL/RSP.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications online only through the prescribed SAIL/RSP application portal. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Steps to Apply Online

1. Visit the official SAIL/RSP application website.
2. Click on the relevant Trainee Advertisement under the What’s New section.
3. Select the Online Application Form.
4. Carefully enter all required information in the application form.
5. Review the details and click on the Submit button.
6. After successful submission, note down the generated Application ID.
7. Use the View Filled Form option and take printouts of the required forms.
8. Sign the required forms and paste one recent passport-size colour photograph at the prescribed place.

Eligible candidates called for the interview must bring the downloaded/printed application form along with the required supporting documents and their originals.

• Two recent passport-size coloured photographs (self-attested).
• All educational certificates.
• Experience Certificate, if applicable.
• Caste/Category Certificate, wherever applicable.
• Aadhaar Card and other relevant identity documents.
• Residential Certificate issued on or after 01 October 2023.
• BPL Card / Ration Card / BSKY Card / Income Certificate issued on or after 01 January 2025, as applicable.
• NOC from the present employer, if employed in Government, PSU, Autonomous Body or other applicable organisation.
• Downloaded/printed application form, declaration form and document verification form.

Selection for the training programmes will be made through an interview. Eligible candidates will be informed about the scheduled interview date, venue and time through SMS on their registered mobile number.

Candidates must attend the interview on the scheduled date and time with the required documents. Failure to produce the required certificates/documents may lead to rejection of candidature.
