Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidates will be appointed in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix with a basic pay of ₹44,900/- per month. Other admissible allowances will be provided as per the applicable Government of Odisha rules.

Application Fee

Candidates other than SC, ST and PwD categories have to pay the examination fee of ₹700 through online mode. The fee is refundable only to candidates who actually appear in both papers of the Written Examination, subject to the conditions mentioned in the official notification.

Age Limit

The candidate must have attained 21 years and must not be above 42 years as on 01 January 2026.

• Passed Matriculation/equivalent examination with Odia as the medium of examination in a non-language subject; or
• Passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class-VII from a recognized institution; or
• Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the concerned authority in Odisha.

The selection process consists of a Written Examination followed by a Personality Test / Interview.

Written Examination – 200 Marks

Marking Scheme

• Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
• For every wrong answer, 25% of the marks awarded for the correct answer will be deducted.
• No marks will be awarded or deducted for an unattempted question.
• Each paper contains 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions.
• The examination will be conducted through OMR evaluation.

Personality Test / Interview

The Personality Test / Interview carries 25 marks.
